next to the famous XXL club (which i’m not sure about is open today or not) there is a cruising bar "Sniedziņš" (meaning "little snow", pronounced snead-sin-shhh) open till 11 pm.

Sniedziņš is just few steps closer to Marijas iela.
you certainly will meet some gay locals around your age there.
the sauna "Varavīksne" (meaning "rainbow", pronounced warr-ah-weaks-neh) gay sauna located in the same building where XXL also should be open today. this place is pretty good for getting an instant shag.
